Enterprise Versioning System (EVS)

EVS is a client and server system that works to track and manage changes in files as part of a Configuration Management process. The server portion can run on the same machine as the client in standalone fashion, or run on enterprise-class datacenter servers for maximum reliability.

EVS is an advanced multiplatform version control system. Based on the industry standard CVS protocol, it sports the time-tested robustness of it's ubiquous predecessor and has many added features for modern operating systems and clients.

The EVS Server is opensource, free software that is licensed under a number of opensource licenses. For more information see the EVSCM opensource project.

Commercial Support for EVS will be available in 2007 from March Hare Software.
