[cvsnt] Build 62 -- junk output during checkout, stat

In build 62 in certain directories (not all, but a lot), "checkout" and
"stat" output the following messages:

cvs server: cannot open CVS/Entries for reading: No such file or directory

This does not happen in build 57j.
