I can't really say for sure, but I'm not making any guarantees.  When it
comes to the repository integrity I'm not prepared to support anything that
risks corruption.  It appears random - with the protection on you'll
probably get away with it 95% of the time (there have only been 3-4
confirmed reports of corruption in the last couple of years) but it's a
risk, and it would be irresponsible of me to not warn people.

I tried contacting them and that haven't even bothered to reply.  That's
happened before - Symantec don't really care much unless you're going to
pay then lots of $$$ for a contract.

The the moment the *only* people who can do anything about this are Symantec
- they have the source code to NAV and can find out what's wrong.  However
it doesn't look like there's much hope of them doing anything, if their
past performance is anything to go by
