[Cvsnt] tag problem

I am importing code into a repostory and using a vendor tag of 'NONE' and a
release tag of 'r01v01'.  This import appears to work fine.  However,
referencing this tag will get me an error that this tag is not found and the
tag is displayed as 'r01v 1'.

Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?  Is this normal behavior or a bug?
