There must be a *real* system user named 'anonymous' on your W2000
system for this to work. Another way is to change the line in passwd
where 'sam' of course it your account name.
This will accept the anonymous login and cause anonymous to wor on the
system in your name....
It is called 'aliasing' the cvs user to the real user.
Also note that you don't need to manipulate the passwd file directly,
you can use the 'cvs passwd' command instead.
