[Cvsnt] CVS for NT 1.11.1.3 in ntserver mode?

Hello,
I'm quite new with CVS and I couldn`t find any help in the older postings.
I installed cvsserver on a NT machine and added an repository.
Now I wanted to use the cvs.exe on my NT client.
But when I invoke cvs with the ntserver option, as described in the
readme.txt, I get the following messsage:
cvs [import aborted]: the :ntserver: access method is not supported by this
port of CVS
?? I think it is?
Or did I something stupid?
