[cvsnt] help: cannot start cvsnt

hi,

  this is what i have done so far..

  - installed cvs for nt version 1.11.1.3
  - followed the 'downloaded' tutorial at devguy with the following mods
       * installation is in c:\programs\cvsnt
       * repository is at c:\programs\cvsrepo
       * temp is at c:\programs\cvstemp
  - the path variable lists c:\programs\cvsnt
  - i ran the config as administrator of the box which will host the
cvsnt service

  now i can run the locking service but not cvsnt service itself. there
are no errors just that the start button is disabled for a moment and
then is enabled again. im betting there is a conflict somewhere but
since there are no error messages and i cant find any log files then im
out of ideas. sorry if this is in the archives but i dont have a steady
internet access and really need to sort this one out. thank you so much
in advance.
