ViewCVS will work with Apache and also has its own stand-alone web server.

The pro version of XP supports IIS, and the installation should be the same
as windows 2000.  The home version of XP does not support IIS.

I have only used viewcvs with IIS on win2k server.  But again, getting it to
work on xp pro with IIS installed should be straight-forward.  Famous last
words.
