Security hole?  I think the biggest problem is
that sooner or later, two people will edit the same
file at the same time.  Or delete some files.  Or
some other action which compromises the shared
sandbox.  That way leads to madness!!

One solution to the above problem is for people to have
their own sandbox on their PC, and they have a "push"
command which uploads their changes into a directory
on the server.  From the point of view of the server
software, everything is the same as before.  Users can
have distinct directories on the server.
