Have a look at your .cvsignore file.
It is used during imports to tell if a exe file shall be imported or
not. CVS will not import such binaries out of the box. But by creating
a .cvsignore file which does *not* contain the exe extension and
placing it in the cvs home folder you might be successful.
If you use WinCvs then there is a simple way of defining the home
directory whare you should place this file.
