[cvsnt] Error when commiting

I have used Eclipse to tie to a CVS repository. When I try to commit a file, I get the following error, could you advise how I can rectify the problem.

The server reported an error while performing the "cvs commit" command.
  OUC_SIR: cvs [server aborted]: Failed to obtain lock on c:/cvsrepo/SIM/OUC/develop/ouc/WEB-INF/src/com/firium/sim/dao: 001 FAIL Lock not within repository
