You'd not using the server if you do that...

Unless 'telnet 127.0.0.1 2401' is giving you a connection then CVSNT 
can't work as there's no way of talking to it - you're getting no 
communication via sockets on that machine.  I'm surprised though that 
the machine works at all if that's the case.
