1/ yes

2/ you have to enable impersonation, this will allow users to get the
ntfs rights they get from their authentication on repositories and
modules.

3/ I assume this too ;)

4/ i could not find such logging info...

Thanks.

Can I just confirm that all I need to do to get it working is to give
full
access to the SYSTEM user (which cvsnt uses)?

Do I have to enable "ntserver" or "impersonation" in Control Panel?

I assume, cvsnt queries the NTFS file system in regards to the users
permissions, and on whatever NTFS returns, uses that return to
allow/deny
access?

Is there a log file anywhere which cvsnt writes to (can I turn loggin on
if
it isnt?) that I can view exactly whats happen? If I could see it, I
would
have known straight away that cvsnt was being denied access directly to
the
repository...
