It works around some silliness in Eclipse that checks the version string 
from the server and aborts if it's CVSNT.  The only other thing it does 
is switch the defaults around for log and status so they hide the CVSNT 
data rather than show it (you need to use status -x and log -x to see 
the data in this case).

The only impact that WinCVS should see is that it won't be able to see 
the mergepoints.
