It was a bad idea.  The server process needs to be able to impersonate
the client's user at the server, so that things like file ownership and
permissions work properly.  LocalSystem can do this; most other accounts
can't.  No doubt Tony has more details, possibly of other things that
could be screwed up and how to fix them :-).  If I recall, the account
needs at least to be able to replace a process-level token.
