[cvsnt] Error FAIL Lock not within repository - How to solve ?

We are using version 2.0.41 and our problem is on the repository name and
not on user name.
Our repository is "K3" and in cvsroot it is in lower case, changing from
"k3" to "K3" this issue is solved.
Is it a bug ?
