Each time I sent this message using Outlook 2003 I receive the following
reply but the message appears to be posted. It is interesting that a spam
filter cannot spell (indentified):

Subject: [cvsnt] Merging across branches

Mergepoints would save a lot of headaches in tagging.

What version of CVSNT was Mergepoints added?

We are currently using v 2.0.8 which was included with WinCVS 1.3.13, but I
expect to migrate to WinCVS 1.3.17 which includes V 2.0.34.

I presume that the mergepoint will only happen if a branch tag is specified?

Will this work on a local repository (CVSNT is both client and server)?

There was discussion of a feature that would move branch tags when there are
no changes checked in on a branch. I presume that the user would have to
activate this feature as some branches would use this feature and others
would not. Does this feature integrate with mergepoints?

thanks
Stuart Stevens
