[cvsnt] How can I check if the firewall is blocking connection between wincvs and cvsnt

Hello,
 
 
when I use Wincvs to connect to the server it gives me error, saying 
connecting host actively refused the connection.
 
 
I tried the following:
 
Tried using telnet from the client to connect to the server.

telnet <serverip> 2401 
 
It gives a blank screen.
 
I also tried netstat -an on the server.
 
It shows 2402 as listening status.
 
How can I make wincvs talk to cvsnt?
 
since the port issue seems ok.
