This is a question (or request) that is better asked at the ViewCvs
user list.
Newsgroup access available at:
server: news.gmane.org
group: gmane.comp.version-control.cvs.viewcvs.user

Email list here:
http://viewvc.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectMailingListList

Note that ViewCvs has been renamed to ViewVC in order to show that
they can view not only CVS mut also SubVersion repositories.
Main page:
http://viewvc.tigris.org/index.html

Sourceforge page:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/viewcvs/

But as far as I understand the workings of ViewCvs it will not use any
user credentials when operating on the RCS files...
