Thanks for the reply.

/3GB actually partially solved the problem. The cvsnt server
can handle the 300MB file now, but failed on a 600MB file.
So this at least proves that you are correct in assuming
the 32bit memory limit is the problem.

On the other hand, the linux cvs server, which should be
32bit too, appears to do fine with these big files. Can I
assume that this memory problem is a limitation of the windows
OS?
