Right, ignore me, I got it working via an ODBC driver for Postgres.

I have another question tho... in the db tables there are mentions of
'bug_id'. How do I link a commit to a certain bug id?

Subject: CVS Audit with Postgres

Hi,

I'm having some trouble setting up auditing in CVSNT 2.5.02

I would like to audit to a PostgreSQL 7.3.4 db running on a separate host.
I have created the tables successfully (I think) based on the provided sql
scripts (for SQLServer, SQLite and MySQL), but am not sure what parameters
to put where for the plugin to work.

I have set the 'Type' to Postgres, 'Name' to janus (the name of the host
running Postgres), 'Prefix' is blank (i've no idea what to put here), and
filled in the correct username and password for the database.

Is the audit plugin limited to localhost, or can I provide the hostname, as
I have tried to do here?

If I have to run Postgres locally, I can, but i'd prefer not to have to
migrate our existing databases.

Any and all help gratefully received.

	Cheers
