AIX is difficult as it doesn't support shared libraries (or rather 
libtool on AIX doesn't, which amounts to the same thing).  There were 
some cvsnt versions that could be compiled statically, but this hasn't 
worked for a while.

Making it work is a porting job that would likely take some time.
