I have seen that you had problems with users list.

I had same problem and realized that at client computers the root files
contained:
:sspi:staso at 192.168.0.1:2401:\VERISTAR

Instead of 
:sspi:staso at 192.168.0.1:2401:/VERISTAR

The script CVSNT syntax no longer supports \. Instead / should be used.

When starting loginfo script the backslash produced error and users file
could not be found.

When clients changed the respective .root files everzthing started to work
as before.
