[cvsnt] Shadow operation problem

It seems like if one follows the helpfile example on the format of the
shadow file it does not work..
I set shadow up on a new repository and used this format:

^mywebsite HEAD D:/websites/mywebsite

This turned out to not work at all....
But changing it to:

mywebsite HEAD D:/websites/mywebsite

made the automatic shadow checkout start working.

Why is the ^ mentioned in the helpfile when in fact it does not work?
