[cvsnt] --lf obsolete?

FYI, Tony is out on vacation until late next week.

It's reasonable to keep some functionality for backward ability, but I 
believe there was some sort of issue with that.  From Tony's message it 
looks like update -k+L will work even against cvshome servers.
