  Created a new user on that machine nad the same thing happens.
When the default is used (:sspi:server:/repository connection string)
CVSNT uses the local user name instead of the one used by
Windows (e.g. when connecting to a shared folder).

  This happens only on that PC and only with the newer CVSNT
builds :-(

  Tried both. When the logon fails - cvsservice shows no debug
output - as expected. Client side CVSNT debug info is of no
help either - simply says that login failed... same as if I explicitly
give an incorrect login and password on the command line.


  Stumped here... How exactly does CVSNT decide which
login name to use?
