[cvsnt] Revision Number of files

We are using CVSNT 2.5.01 Build 1976 on a Windows 2003 Server. We use
SSPI for Authentication. Wondering if there is a way to explicitly alter
the Revision number of a file if so does it have any adverse
consequences.
