TBH if you have more than one or two corrupt files I'd be looking at 
rolling back to backups, and urgently investigating the cause.  Due to 
the nature of RCS files (90% of their stored data is user data and not 
really verifiable) if you're getting corruption on that scale then 
something is very wrong.
