[cvsnt] influence of many tags on performance

Hello,

I'd like to be certain that having a large amount of in a repository 
doesn't significantly influence the peformance during commit or update. Is 
that a reasonable assumption? 
I'm thinking about 60 tags present on every file in the repository.
