[cvsnt] CVS Server Side Reporting Tools?

Hi,
I would know if there are tools to produce reporting on cvs server side.

With big projects needing (if I understood well) a working copy  to generate reports is (in my opinion) somehow a workaround.

Any suggestion in how to do this in an optimal way?
