What's New in UD6 1.03.00

If you are currently using UD6 1.03 beta 2 you must uninstall it before installing UD6 1.03 beta 3.

March Hare recommend that you uninstall all other previous versions of UD6 using the Windows Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs function, before installing UD6 CMtool Driver 1.03.00.

Please read the sections What's New in UD6 1.03.00 Beta 1 and What's New in UD6 1.03.00 Beta 2 and What's New in UD6 1.03.00 Beta 3 if you have not already done so.

New to 1.03.00 are:

Recommendations for new users:

New users should use UD6 1.03.00 as your first installation.

Recommendations for users of UD6 1.03 Beta 3.5 (and later):

Existing users should upgrade their production systems to UD6 1.03.00, however please use your existing joins, xlinks, renamedirs and (optionally) ofields configuration files (you will need to upgrade ofields if you are also upgrading Uniface.

UD6 1.03.00 uses slightly different default directory names for temlates and globals. The sub-directories no longer have hyphens "-" in their names. If you want to use the newer 1.03 joins file then you should alter these directory names in the new joins file to maintain compatibility with your existing instalaltion.

If you have dat/time settings stored in UD6 or Japanese messages (including the default Uniface Japanese Messages sources) stored in UD6 you should either:

Issues with Microsoft Internet Explorer

Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 and higher can be used to display the formatted contents of the XML source files. This uses the MSXML software.
