Illegal < character when MHGFP140 is on, garbled bold, underline, and italic text in XML file.
When using UD6 versions prior to UD6 1.02.45, not all cases of Uniface bold, underline and italic are correctly interpreted by UD6. These do not effect the integrity of the source code or the performance of UD6, but cause the bold, underline or italic text to not be displayable by IE5.
Additionally this problem effects UD6 when used with the UD6 Option Pack, that Uniface labels or text painted on a Form Component (Form Paint Tableau) that contain bold, underline or italic can cause the XML file to be undisplayable by IE5. These do not effect the integrity of the source code or the performance of UD6.
Source code created with earlier versions of UD6 are automatically updated on write with UD6 1.02.45 and later. This functionality can be disabled in the assignment file driver settings:
USYS$UD6_PARAMS=boldv2
Alternatively all your source code can be updated at once by exporting and re-importing:
