Are you actually saying that Norton breaks the creation of files?

If so, can anyone give a single good reason why I shouldn't just make cvsnt
refuse to run if it finds Norton resident?  I *refuse* to be the Norton
unnoficial support line again, like I was when they broke the sockets
layer.

For the money they charge they should be able to pay a whole army of testers
to get the bugs out.  It sounds like they couldn't be bothered testing
their product and just release it and to hell with the customers.
