[Cvsnt] :local: method bug?

Does anyone know if there is a way to get cvsnt to not require the
"<drive:>" portion of the repository path for a :local: checkout when you
aren't actually using in <drive:> for a checkout?

e.g.
set CVSROOT=/repository
cvs co <module>

works when your current drive is the same as the drive CVSROOT is located
on, but it barfs if you change out to a different directory.
