[Cvsnt] How to set cvsroot in Solaris

I want to know how to set cvsroot in solaris.
I use cvs for nt. and install cvs in solaris.

I tried to set like as CVSROOT :pserver:id at host:d:/cvs
But, I see some error message associated with repository.
