This is (AFAIK) always caused by AV software (or possibly a 'personal 
firewall') mucking up the communication.  Uninstall anything you have 
like that (disabling it usually isn't enough) and try again.  Once you 
have cvsnt working you can put them back and play with the configuration 
until the fw/av starts working.
