[cvsnt] error while connecting to linux repositary

Hi all,
 
I have moved all cvs repositary from one server to other server with
normal unix command mv .
Now problem is not able to connect from cvs windows client to linux
respositary. 
it will give error like  *****CVS exited normally with code 1*****
Please can anyone explain me something , what could be the reason.
What else settings i have to setup at linux server side..and windows
client side
One more thing the earlier cvs respositary  m/c name is different from
present one..
