In all seriousness - are you using cygwin bash?  Or another?


In conclusion, I suppose the answer is "you need to reproduce the bug".

That's a hacked up version of the cvshome.org sanity.sh script (if
you've seen
it you'll know why it's commonly called insanity.sh).  It doesn't stress
the
network as such, just tries all sorts of strange combinations of
checkout/update/modules, etc. and compares with known results.
