[cvsnt] Help on CVS.......

Hi,
I am getting stock up at this point of cvs.
My repository is at india in a public ip address.
when i want ot connect it to from usa over the internet
it is showing the ERROR: time out.

can anybody solve this problem. or what are the settings i have to do.

Plz. let me know asap.
