A couple of users aren't going to be using multiple domains, so the
thread wouldn't have started in the first place :)

As I said, it's OK for small setups but once you get to companywide
networks there are security issues with people potentially sniffing
the link etc. that must be factored in.  Most companies have a
security policy even across an intranet and I wouldn't suggest that
someone installs something like pserver without making sure they're
not violating that policy.  Because pserver doesn't support any kind
of encryption and the passwords are sent in plaintext it should only
be used where you're certain that the traffic can't be intercepted.
