THe down side is that if you make a branch at the release point and
then later work on that branbch it is very difficult to get back to
the exact release state. There is no way to use a cvs command to get
the *base* of the branch once it has gone active.
So I vote for setting a release tag on the TRUNK and later (if needed)
branch off that point to work on some modifications to that particular
release.
