[cvsnt] cannot change mode of file, Permission denied

Hi,
Thanks to Bo for the response to my question about a CVS commit problem:
 
cvs server: cannot change mode of file
/cvsroot/src/AOControl/Control.cls,v: Permission denied
cvs [server aborted]: cannot rename file
/cvsroot/src/AOControl/,Control.cls, to
/cvsroot/src/AOControl/,Control.cls,: Permission denied
 
I checked the server, and there's no suspended cvs.exe process.  Any
other suggestions for the possible cause?
