rlog -R would have given you that information too..

I wonder if BASE would do the job.. OTOH I'd have to work out what it 
was originally for first (the only code that mentions it is in the 
version check, and I'm not really sure what that's doing).

Adding things like BRANCHPOINT are interesting ideas for the future.
