This is OK for reverting a few files. Is there a simpler way to do it with a
tag or date on an entire project? (i.e. several hundred files.)

Thanks,
Curt

If you are interested only on the differences between both revisions,
try: cvs diff -r1.6 filename
If you want to use your own diff program, try: cvs update -p -r1.6 filename

these things in a more user-friendly way.
