I can't find any download for WIX, whatever I click I wind up in a
"toolset"
download page...
Those get me to a votive download only.

Did I find the right start page at all??? Is there another one?

votive is the VS integration plugin.

You need to download wix 2 (not wix 3 as it's not stable yet).

No GUI, but the script is pretty simple once you've got your head around

the way MSI structures things (which I'll admit is a bit wierd).
