hi there,
CVS maintains it's internal revision number automatically,,,,and you dont hve to bother about it.
There is an option called 'Tag'......You can use Tagging to give a particular internal revision number a symbolic name, label,......
Check the Tag option....

When I commit my files, automatically the cvs server changes the revision
from 1.1 to 1.2,

How can I change the CVS Revision from 1.x to 2.x using force revision/force
committing?
