You obviously know more about this than I. I'm just finding the
cvsservice.exe will not start while cvs.exe is running possibly because
of clients with open connections to port 2401. Probably more to the
point, why is cvs.exe still running after stopping the services?
After I stop both cvsservice.exe and cvslock.exe (and confirmed they
have exited), I still see something is listening on port 2401. a cvs.exe
is still running. I end cvs.exe and port 2401 becomes free again.
OK. I saw an active connection on port 2401 from Tortoise since it just
seems to sit there forever with 2260 client vs 2382 server. I got the
client to close and then cvs.exe close gracefully by itself. I can
