Not enough information to diagnose!

CVSNT version on the server?
Operating system on the CVSNT server?
Connection string used while operating from the client (CVSROOT)?
Client operating system?
Client CVSNT version?
*Exact* error messages (copy paste from cvs dialogue)?

In the end:
Go to the server folder where CVSNT is installed.
Create a command prompt there.
Run cvsdiag and copy the output you see to a reply to this list.
This will give us much more to go by when analysing your problems.

NOTE: When we talk about CVSNT versions we need the *full* version like:
2.5.03.2382 (all 4 numbers needed!).

Best regards,

Bo Berglund

Subject: [cvsnt] cvs error - doc, war, ear files

Hi All

I have uploaded a new cvs module recently. I am facing few errors.

1. Unable to open .doc files. Getting the following error.

The document name or path is not valid. Try these suggestions.
*Check the file permissions for the document or drive.
*Use the File Open dialog box to locate the document.

2. Unable to deploy .war and .ear files.
3. Size mis-match for .war and .ear files.

Looks all binary files are creating some problem. Selected -kb option
for binary files, while importing. Can any one faced these errors?
Please share your experiene.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers
