[cvsnt] Cannot change permissions on temporary directory

That's the interesting part. By the time that CVS fails and displays the
error msg, the temp directory that it is trying to create no longer exists
in the directory.
I'm actually trying to check out an entire project, not an individual file.
I don't know if that makes a difference or not.
I am also not sure what you mean by doing an log/rlog on the file and
checking the "mode". I tried to do a log on the file and I get the
cvs log EncounterEntry.java:
RCS file: /action/client/EncounterEntry.java,v
Working file: EncounterEntry.java
keyword substitution: kv
total revisions: 7; selected revisions: 7
Am I missing a particular option in the log command?
