If you ever do want to consider a modestly priced commercial client, I 
would highly recommend CVS Suite.  It combines an enhanced version of 
TortoiseCVS, WinCVS, our Workspace Manager, Release Manager, and other 
front-end utilities plus 300+ pages of documentation and our back end 
server plugins that help turn a "version control" product into a full 
blown Configuration Management Solution.

BTW: Just to be technically correct, there are *no* CVSNT GUI clients at 
all -- the only CVSNT client is command line based with API's that the 
GUI front ends can call.

That said, the typical user wouldn't notice, or even need to know (until 
they need to ask for support, anyway).
